However, if the academic break is shorter than five days, they are not allowed to work unlimited hours during that week unless the remaining days of the week are a holiday. For instance, a holiday on a Monday followed by a 4 day academic break from a Tuesday to a Friday would result in a7 day academic break. That said, if the Monday in question were not a holiday, then they would have to adhere to the 24 hours requirement. Our DLI has historically had a Fall Scheduled Break that is 6 consecutive days. Seeing that this 7-day requirement is new, I'm wondering if you can confirm that it is accurate? Thank you! ’ 000029
