If a person in this situation submits applications for both a Temporary Resident Permit (TRP/PST) (due to not having a valid passport) and a Work Permit extension (IMM 5710) before their current work permit expires, do they retain the right to work (implied status) until a decision is made on the work permit extension? Thank you!
