International students at BC high school secondary “duel credit” are able to take secondary level courses and post secondary courses (university level courses and physically attending university classes). The study permit of these students explicitly mentions Institution name as Would the student be in compliance if they are the primary attending high school and taking few courses at university level? Or would they need to apply for a new study permit? A: [requester] permit in order to pursue studies at the post-secondary level. Therefore, individuals transitioning between secondary to post secondary level need to get a new study permit by applying to extend their current one to attend a post-secondary school. 2. International students with valid study permit for another DLI in Canada who desire to attend our institution as “visiting students” for one semester full time later to return to their primary institution to graduate from. Is this student required to apply for a new study permit even if their stay at our institution is limited to one semester? Upon ending their visiting semester at our institution, do they need to reapply again for a new study permit to return to their primary institution? If a study permit holder wishes to concurrently attend more than one DL, they must apply for a study permit for each DUI at which they intend to study.
