8.19(1) EM eeccc mires Semen case authorized leave in which the student is no longer considered an active student. Therefore, they would need to change their status or leave Canada In comparison, an academic suspension would be considered a leave. A student may take leave for a maximum 150 days due to academic suspension and would not be considered as no longer being registered or enrolled.
