‘Answer: Yes, if a candidate holds a valid study permit and a valid work permit, they can work full-time while studying

so long as they are following the conditions set out in their study and work permits. 2. 2. Question: If so, can he/she claim work experience points in CRS?

Answer: The candidate could claim CRS points under Skill Transferability factors as per the Ministerial Instructions respecting the Express Entry system. However, as is stated in section 15(7), if the candidate is studying full time while they are working, their work would not be eligible for CRS points.

3. 3. Question: Does this work experience CRS points fall under Federal Skilled Worker Program?

Answer: This work could count towards the minimum entry criteria for FSW and count towards the selection factors under this program to gain points.
