She also added her spouse as dependent to extend his work permit. Now, in Dec 2024 she completed her studies and is eligible to apply Post graduate work permit and we are submitting application for the same. She will not be able to get authorization to work as she is on maintained status as of now. My question is what should be done for the spouse in such scenario. She will not be able to work and clear the employment requirements for spousal extension. If there existing extension application gets refused as study has already been completed . What are the options for spouse.
