Answer:

Please refer to our website to learn about the requirements for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

Under the CEC, the employer must be Canadian and the qualifying work experience must be obtained inside [requester]

addition, the applicant can not be the employer and the employee, meaning that work experience obtained during a period

of self-employment in Canada is not eligible.

While there are no requirements for the employer to be established for a certain period of time, and there are no

requirements regarding the number of employees or business income, the officer must be satisfied that the qualifying

employment experience is genuine. As such, the officer may request additional evidence of employment which may include

proof that the employer is authentic and may reasonably employ high-skilled workers as declared. The proof may include, for

example, documents related to the establishment and operations of a company, such as business registration, company

structure and financial statements.
