Question:

Students have on their study permit printed the designated learning institution of the field of study. Does the student have

to make an application to correct the field of study if it does not match what they are studying? They have not changed DLI

and often either entered it incorrectly when applying or changed their program but not the school.

Response:

Student may continue studying at their DLI with their current study permit as long as they still meet their study permit

conditions.

Please note that as of November 8, 2024, the study permit holder must be enrolled in the designated learning institution

(DL!) named on their study permit. This means they can no longer change DLls by letting us know through their online

account. To change DLls, they need to apply for a new study permit. Please refer to updated information on the IRCC website:
