© * holds a valid work permit Further: Family members of a work or study permit applicant whose application is approved in writing before entry to Canada The family member of a foreign national whose application for a work or study permit is approved in writing before the foreign national enters Canada does not need to submit a letter of acceptance (LOA) with their study permit application. Even though an LOA is not required, a PAL/TAL is required unless the applicant meets an exception. How does one receive a PAL without an LOA?
