As] do see that the website was updated on February 12, 2025 to signal that Applications are now officially closed. Could your office please confirm whether applications submitted between January 1, 2025 to February 11, 2025 are to be eligible for consideration and processing?
Applicants and the general public have previously seen media reports and some government statements published around January 20, 2025 regarding IRCC’s extension of the subject PNP Candidate Work Permit policy to December 31, 2025, but now it seems that the extension is no longer in place. Can you please clarify when the extension policy was revoked and which dates applications for under this policy would no longer be eligible?
We are inquiring, as one of our clients had submitted his application on January 25, 2025 under this policy. We are worried whether or not his application will be accepted for processing based on the policy directive. ‘Thank you for your kind response,
