The work permit was then refused, and their status in Canada was lost. This individual later re-entered Canada using an eTA. Can they still apply for a work permit restoration within the 90-day period? RESPONSE: No, this person is not eligible to apply restoration as their work permit extension was refused, even if they entered Canada onan eTA and are within the 90 period to restore. If they believe that their work permit application was refused for the wrong reason, they can ask for reconsideration. There is no guarantee of a different outcome.
