Scenario 1: A student is applying to extend their study permit and will be remaining in the same program of study. They are exempt fiom the requirement for a PAL, correct? Scenario 2: A student has completed one program at our college. They have been accepted for a second program of study. They are applying to extend their study permit to complete a second, diflerent program (that is at the same level of study — ie. both diploma programs). Wil this student require a PAL for their study permit extension? Scenario 3: A student has completed one program at our college. They have been accepted for a second program of study. They are applying to extend their study permit to complete a second, different program (that is at a different level of study — ie, diploma program to post-graduate certificate). Will this student require a PAL for their study permit extension? Scenario 4: A student applied for their study permit in one program but changed programs at the same DLI prior to November 1, 2024. They are now applying for a study permit extension to complete the program of study that they changed into, Will this student require a PAL for their study permit extension? ‘Thank you for your time and consideration with these scenarios.
