according to IRPR 186(v)\(ii) if their study permit has a condition or a remark printed on it specifying that they

may work 20 hours per week?

Response:

Please be advised that the requlations have been updated to reflect the 24 hours off-campus work authorization

during academic sessions for eligible students.

fa student's current study permit has a condition stating that they may only work 20 hours per week off campus,

for example:

“May work 20 hours per week off campus or full-time during regular breaks if meeting criteria outlined

in paragraph 186(v) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations.”

They are allowed to work up to 24 hours per week as long as they continue to meet the eligibility

requirements.
