As a result, a person who is currently a visitor with legal status in Canada is not eligible to apply for a work permit from within [requester] visitor would like to apply for a work permit, they can do so from outside of Canada. \sb240Applicants seeking a work permit using the outside of Canada process will receive a port of entry letter of introduction indicating their application is provisionally approved.
