Please see our response to your question. eK R222(1)(a.4) states that a study permit becomes invalid on the day on which the study permit holder is no longer enrolled at the DLI named in the permit, other than as a result of completing their studies. While we cannot provide case specific guidance, possible scenarios (other than as a result of completing studies) could include the date the study permit holder is no longer registered or enrolled at the DLI because they have been dismissed by the DLI, have withdraw from the DLI, etc. We hope this information is helpful.
