As you have indicated, to benefit from the grace period, students must meet the following criteria and must also ensure that their Winter or Spring program start date is from January 1 to May 1, 2025. My question is pertaining to “January 1, 2025 to May 1, 2025” date, is this timeframe referring to the program/class start date? For example, student received admission to start at their new DLI during the Spring 2025 semester between January 1, 2025 to May 1, 2025. If spring semester classes begin after May 1, 2025, can the student start their program under the grace period after applying for a study permit extension to change their DLI? Or must the student receive admission and start Spring 2025 class on or before May 1, 2025 to be eligible to start studying under the grace period?
