Scenario: Astudent currently enrolled in a postgraduate certificate program at the School of Continuing Studies at York University has successfully completed their first program and has been admitted toa second postgraduate certificate program at the same [requester] are applying to extend their study permit. Would they need a provincial attestation letter to apply to extend their study permit for the second program at the same DLI? Graduate education or above Students who remain within the same level of study while changing programs at the same Designated Learning Institution (OLI) do not require a new Provincial Attestation Letter [PAL] when applying for a study permit extension.
