Reference: 188 (1) A foreign national may study in Canada without a study permit (c) if the duration of their course or program of studies is six months or less and will be completed within the period for their stay authorized upon entry into Canada; Question: If a foreign national on a PGWP valid for 2.5 years, leaves Canada and renters from a trip to another country. 1. Will the foreign national's new period of authorized stay upon entry into Canada be 2.5 years which is till the end of their Valid PGWP? 2. Can the foreign national being on a valid PGWP, now legally study a program of up to 6 months length without requiring a study permit? Regards
