Each province or territory has its own process for managing these letters. For Quebec, a CAQis considered to act as the PAL/TALas long as itis valid. You will need to submit specific information about the student and the program of study. This typically includes the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) and other relevant documents. Once the application is processed, the provincial or territorial authorities will issue the PAL/TAL. This letter confirms that the student has been assigned one of the spaces allocated to the province or territory and is eligible to apply for a study permit. Ensure that the PAL/TAL is valid at the time of the study permit application. The letter must be submitted along with the study permit application to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRC). If a PAL/TALis required and not provided at the time of application, the application must not be accepted into processing.
