He came to Canada in September 2023 in Sheridan College but switched to a different college (Fleming College) in January 2024. He is currently in his last semester and is completing his diploma in April 2025. His study permit is valid until April 30, 2025 and we are applying to extend it for another 3 months i.e. until July 31, 2025. He requested his college to provide for PAL but his college is not providing as they don't provide PAL for extensions. Can he apply for a study permit extension without PAL? Students who changed DLIs, through their on-line account, before November 8, 2024 may keep studying at their DLI with their current study permit as long as they still meet their study permit conditions. When applying to extend their study permit to cover the study period at the new DLI, unless they meet one of the exceptions they must submit a provincial/terrtorial attestation letter PAL/TAL with their application.
