Based on new changes implemented by IRC, student's study permit becomes invalid on the day on which the permit holder is no longer enrolled at the designated learning institution that is named in the permit, other than as a result of completing their studies. We have encountered several cases where students are unable to begin their studies due to delays in receiving their study permits. In such situations, does the study permit automatically expire upon issuance? Would the student need to apply for a new permit to continue their studies in the following semester? Thank you.
