The expiry date on the study permit letter of introduction refers to the expiration date of both the study permit and, if applicable, the temporary resident visa (TRV). Does the expiry date indicate the date on which the client must travel to Canada to request the issuance of the study permit at the POE? Or does the expiry date indicate the date that the study permit will be valid until? In the case of the latter, can CBSA only issue a study permit valid until the expiry of the LOI?
