For example, a student who has an active program and is registered to fall 2024 but then does not register to winter 2025 and, according to university regulations, remains eligible to register to summer 2025 or fall 2025. (Of course, this would have implications for their student status with IRCC but, according to this interpretation, the study permit would not necessarily be invalidated by this non-registration.) On the other hand, the French word inserit seems more limited — more linked to the course registration during one semester — and could kead to an interpretation that not being registered to courses during one semester makes the study permit invalid
