Multiple occupations are listed and included under these job titles. Please note, experience or training as an early childhood educator, day care teacher, or supervisor will not be considered eligible. 8.19(1) FFD erccepcress Semone conse My question is: Does the ECE (Early Childhood Education) certificate qualify? It states under training: childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202). "This does not include early childhood educators, day care teachers and supervisors". My question is: Isn’t the training for early childhood assistants included in the ECE program? The training requirements for Early childhood educator assistants under NOC 42202 lists Completion of secondary school is required, Experience in child care is required. Completion of an early childhood education assistant certificate program or post-secondary courses in early childhood education may be required. Licensing by a provincial or territorial association as an early childhood educator may be required. Based on this information it implies to me that the the Early Childhood education certificate does qualify for the Early Childhood education Assitant (the position eligible under the HCWIP). This is time sensitive as the pilot opens on March 31, 2025 and I would appreciate a prompt response. Thank you for your time.
