Applicants must have either 6 months of continuous, fulltime and relevant work experience in the past 3 years OR completed relevant training that was at least 6 months in length, resulted in a post-secondary diploma, certificate or credential, and was competed in the past 2 years before they apply. \sb240The work experience or training needs to correspond to the occupation that the applicant is applying to. \cbpat4The taining must: © be targeted towards the following National Occupational Classifications (NOCs) © HCWIP: Child Care = Home child care providers (NOC 44100) = Early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202) = This does not include early childhood educators, day care teachers and supervisors. © HCWIP: Home Support = Home support workers, caregivers and related occupations (NOC 44101) = Nurse aides, orderlies and patient service associates (NOC 33102) © inthe NOCs of 1 pilot—either child care or home support Multiple occupations are listed and included under these job titles, Please note, experience or training as an early childhood educator, day care teacher, or supervisor will not be considered eligible.
