The client previously held a work permit (and/or student permit) but is now ona valid visitor status. I would appreciate your guidance on the following points: 1. Is the client eligible to apply for an LMIA-based work permit while physically present in Canada on a visitor record, supported by a valid Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMTA)? 2. Ifyes, can the client submit the work permit application using Form inml295e, designated for applicants outside of Canada, without leaving Canada? 3. Additionally, any restrictions on candidates applying for spousal open work permit while being on visitor record inside canada? T would appreciate it if, you could confirm the applicable policy or provide official guidance on this scenario, including any reference to program delivery instructions or public policy provisions currently in place. ‘Thank you for your time and assistance.
