Company A and B are each equal 50% shareholders of company C, which is a logistics company. Foreign national who owns
company A wants to apply for a CIT LMIA exemption work permit. Is he eligible for a CLI work permit inthis situation? Or would
he have to own the logisties company 50% in his personal name? He is able to demonstrate he owns company A as a 100%
shareholder and company A owns company C as a 50% shareholder, essentially making him a 50% owner.
