Please see our response to your question, Under the Home Care Worker Immigration pilots, applicants must complete at least six months of continuous, full-time work experience in eligible NOCs. The work experience must: © * be continuous, meaning you must have worked at least 6 months in a row © * Itmay include a reasonable vacation period (for example, 2 weeks of paid leave within a 52-week period). © * Ifyou changed jobs, there must be no breaks between them. © * be full-time, meaning at least 30 hours of paid work per week © “Ifyou worked multiple part-time jobs at the same time, it only counts if it adds up to at least 30 hours per week for 6 months in a row. If the required 6 months work experience is incomplete due to the passing of the care recipient (or any other reason), the application may not meet the eligibility criteria as outlined and might be refused. The applicant may seek to gain eligible experience from a new employer, as long as it meets all criteria. Note that any experience gained after applying doesn’t count; as such, applicants must complete all of the required work experience before applying.
