If student transferred credits from the same DLI, but froma different program (program A) to complete program B, does the shorter duration of program B fall under the definition of accelerated studies? RESPONSE: Under the same section of the PGWP PDI referenced above, please see Example 3: Transferring between eligible DLIs, which states:

* A student completes a program of study at an eligible DLI and transfers the credits earned to another eligib’e DLT (or transfers over the credits eamed ffom 2 previous program at the same eligible DLE). A stugent who has changed DLIs will need to apply for a new study permit, The student may submit fetter of acceptance indicating that the credits eamed in the first program have been accepted toward completing the subsequent program. The officer should consider all eredi from both programs that contribute toward completing the subsequent program in determining PGWP eligibility and length, A PGWP is issued based on the completed duration of the program,

For example, if the applicant took classes for a period of 12 months, not in an accelerated form, but their classes were part of a 2-year program, the PGWP may be issued for 12 months, according to the duration of their studies.
