We would like to understand the NOC code for Assistant manager position based on the job description | have provided in the above email, To be more specific, is the experience as assistant manager considered under NOC 60030 or under 62020? Especially in this case, the candidate was reporting to a manager and assisting the manager in her job duties. She was supervising the staff and operations but the title on the experience letter is" Assistant Manager". Duties of NOC 60030 and 62020 are almost the same on the job bank. Title "Assistant Manager" is not mentioned under any of the NOC codes which makes it hard to decide which option candidate should go with. Under the AIP, candidates with experience in Higher Level NOC cannot accept a position in lower NOC so itis crucial for us to provide the candidate with an exact answer and guide the candidate if she is eligible to apply or not based on the NOC of experience.
