for five years with the simple annotation "PG." —_E-w This can lead to confusion; for example, someone residing here as a supervisa holder who wants to get a NS driver's licence has no documentation of their status. Why is it the policy not to issue a visitor record? (Further the policies around the ongoing validity of visitor records are also confusing; sometimes CBSA takes the position that if you leave Canada, and return on an unexpired visitor record that has even just one day of validity, you cannot get anew visitor record, meaning that you have to file for an immediate extension.) | would appreciate clarification of these policies. -Blair
