QUESTIONS:

Ifa student who is currently in Canada and changes their program of study to a diploma program at the same institution after November 1, 2024 but completes the program before their current study permit expires (which was applied for before November 1, 2024): do they have to meet the field of study requirement to be eligible for a PGWP?

Ifa student who is currently in Canada and changes their program of study to a diploma program at the same institution after November 1, 2024 and extends their study permit after November 1, 2024 in order to complete that program: do they have to meet the field of study requirement to be eligible fora PGWP?

3. 3. The changes that are in effect starting Nov 1, 2024is factoring when student applied for a study permit or program change or both?
