This exemption helps to facilitate access to short-term courses, regardless of their subject matter. The course or program of study may be part-time or full-time and should be completed within the period authorized upon entry. It is possible an applicant may benefit from the following Public Policy - Temporary public policy to allow foreign nationals with valid work permits to study without a study permit - Canada.ca A foreign national may need a medical exam to get a work permit if any of these situations apply to them: 1. 1. they wish to work in any job where it is important to protect public health, such as © “health services © * child care or © * primary or secondary education 2. 2. they'll work in an agricultural job, and they have lived in a designated country or territory, 3, 3, they want to work in Canada for more than 6 months, and they lived in a designated country or territory for 6 consecutive months during the year right before the date they intend to enter [requester] they've got an open work permit and didn’t get a medical exam, but they now want to work in a job that requires a medical exam, they can follow these instructions. Only following 2 conditions mentioned on PGWP. 1. Unless authorized, prohibited from attending any educational institution, or taking any academic, professional or vocational training courses 2. Not valid for employment in business related to the sex trade such as strip clubs, massage parlours or escort services However, now the candidate is getting a chance to work in childcare / daycare. They completed short term training on PGWP and can work as an educator (ECE). Do they still need to get medical done to start the job , even if there's no condition on WP > Thanks, oozsz2
