Comprehensive Ranking System

The points system that ranks profiles in the Express Entry pool.

On the official record

• IRCC uses CRS to assess and score a profile and rank it in the pool: skills, education, language, work experience, and other factors.
• A score is out of 1,200. An invitation needs a score at or above the cut-off for that round.
• As of 25 Mar 2025, IRCC no longer gives CRS points for job offers. A valid job offer can still matter for program eligibility.

Common mix-ups

• Not the FSW 67/100 selection grid.
• Not a promise of an invitation.
