On the official record
Official / RED VERIFIEDIRCC PGWP page says graduates of certain designated learning institutions may be eligible for a post-graduation work permit. The how-to-apply page says you have up to 180 days after you graduate to apply.
R186(w) lets some people work after they apply if they applied before the study permit expired and they met the student off-campus work rules. The after-you-apply page restates that test.
