Express Entry

A pool, not a queue. IRCC uses it to manage three economic permanent residence programs and to invite ranked profiles.

This site does not collect a UCI, an application number, or an upload.

Official / RED VERIFIED

IRCC Express Entry landing says the system manages the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class. A profile in the pool is not an application for permanent residence.

Who can apply still has to meet at least one of those three programs. Category-based selection is a layer on top of the pool, not a fourth program people apply to.

Confirm the live Canada.ca Express Entry page before you treat a round type, a category list, or a processing note as current.

Start with the programs hub if you need the three doors and the category layer. Score a profile in the CRS calculator. Published cut-offs live on the draws page, not in a rumour calendar.

An invitation is not a visa. Filing after the facts no longer support the score that was invited is how people turn a ranking problem into a refusal.

Labelled judgment. Not the official rule. Not legal advice.
