Invitation to Apply

The permanent-residence terms PDI says an ITA is given to Express Entry candidates with the highest CRS scores at the time of a round. You can respond, decline and return to the pool, or ignore it and leave the pool.

The apply page says the invitation is valid for 60 days only. If your facts change after the ITA and your recalculated CRS falls below the cut-off for that round, that page says you should decline.

Rounds are general, program-specific, or category-based. Category-based still requires eligibility for one of the three Express Entry programs.
