NOC assessment

Duties first, lead statement second. The title on an offer letter does not pick the unit group.

This site does not collect a UCI, an application number, or an upload.

Official / RED VERIFIED

IRCC Find your NOC page says the main duties must match the work that was done. If they do not, find a different unit group. Current applications use NOC 2021 and TEER. The code is five digits. The second digit is the TEER category.

The Federal Skilled Worker regulatory test in IRPR s. 75 requires the actions in the lead statement and a substantial number of the main duties, including all essential duties. ESDC hosts the official unit-group profiles.

Practice judgment

Practice judgment

This site puts duties first because that is where files actually break. A polished title with the wrong duties is a bad code. Employment requirements and Job Bank wages confirm. They do not pick the code.

If the IRCC finder table and the ESDC unit-group profile disagree, use the ESDC profile. Express Entry skilled work is usually TEER 0 to 3. That is a program filter, not proof the unit group is right.

Labelled judgment. Not the official rule. Not legal advice.
